DARK WOOD CALENDAR CLOCK
A variation on our most popular Calendar clock.
For those might look on the G239A and G237A and think they look a little clinical.
The slight upgrade gives you all the functionality of the widely used G239A clock but with perhaps a more homely feel.
Primarily for use by people who are finding it difficult to keep track of the days and months.
They are particularly useful in Assisted Living situations and for people living with Alzheimer's or Dementia.
The 'big deal' with this clock is Twemco's patented Perpetual Calendar technology that automates the long and short months and also leap years.
As anyone knows who has a relative who is losing track of the days, being well orientated within the week as just as important as knowing where you are within the day. This clock provides a well built solution that you know can be relied upon with little to no intervention. Just make the adjustments at summer / winter time changes, change the battery every couple of years and everything else is taken care of.
The clock is has Dementia Design Accredited Product status, awarded by The University of Stirling in 2019.
The G239A has a large, easy to read 230mm diameter clock-face linked to a fully automatic calendar.
A single 'AA' battery, which should last you a couple of years or so depending on the brand, is supplied with the clock.
There's a high quality German movement at the heart of the clock that will provide you with an accuracy of about 1.5 sec/month at normal operating temperatures.
Clock operation is straightforward:
Time is adjusted via a wheel on the back of the movement situated behind a removable panel on the back of the clock.
The date is adjusted via sliders, also on the back. All the instructions are printed on the clock so you can never lose them..

Dark wood Calender clock
by Tony Wakefield on May 12, 2026I received the clock I had ordered today by UPS very fast delivery, there's just one snag I ordered from the link I was sent to order the dark wood clock and saw the photo of the one I wanted, and have been sent a light wood one instead ?? I assume that the code on the box was not checked properly and was sent the light wood one by mistake. Its ok I will keep the Clock and have set it up and pleased with the quality and the ease of setting it.
